Mailing list

If you join the mailing list, we store the email address you provide, your optional first name, your consent and the date of sign-up. We use these details to send Forged Community session updates and community news. We do not use them for advertising or share them with other organisations for their own marketing.

Mailing-list details are stored in Cloudflare’s secure storage. You can ask to be removed or ask about the information held for you by emailing [email protected]. We also temporarily process a hashed technical request identifier to help prevent automated sign-ups.

Member sign-in

Member sign-in is provided by Cloudflare Access. If you choose to sign in, Cloudflare processes the email address you enter to send a single-use verification code and maintain your sign-in session. Cloudflare may also process authentication and security event details, such as the time of a sign-in and technical information about the request.

The website does not keep a separate password or member profile database. Sign-up is open to anyone who can verify an email address. You can contact us if you need help with access.

Visiting the website

The public pages do not include advertising or analytics tools. Cloudflare provides the website hosting, mailing-list storage and security, so it may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. The members area uses a Cloudflare sign-in session cookie to keep you signed in.

Mental health information

This website does not ask you to enter mental health information. Please do not send sensitive health details by email or through the member sign-in page. Forged Community is a community group, not a therapy or crisis service.

Cloudflare

Cloudflare provides hosting and member authentication. Its handling of information is also covered by its privacy policy. If you use links to NHS, Samaritans or other organisations, their own privacy notices apply.
